Good Friday Morning to All,
Many students are picking up packets to audition for the musical, Once Upon A Mattress. I am so glad to have such a nice turnout so far. Keep encouraging more to come and join in on the fun.
In the packet, there is an abundance of permission slips. You need to have 2 signed ( one to audition and one to be in the musical) and return these asap to me. You can throw out the others- sorry about the mess up. Stay tuned for more!!
For the ensemble members, you need to pick up a packet with information and permission slip also.
Keep checking this site out daily and ask your parent to also so they will know what the schedules are.

Oh Happy Day,
The announcements will be starting on Thursday to come and sign up for the Gorham Middle School's Musical, Once Upon A Mattress. This play is a spoof on The Princess and the Pea. There are many parts available, speaking and solo acts as well as ensemble. There will be knights in shining armor, princesses, ladies in waiting,a prince,a king,a queen, jester, minstrel, and of course the wizard. If being on stage is not for you, sign up later for the stage crew. There is a place for everyone.
If you want to be in the ensemble, you will not need to audition, but you need to come to my room for an information packet. This is full of information, schedules, and a permission form to be turned in as soon as possible. You will be practicing on Thursdays in the beginning. You need to check into this blog daily for up to date changes.
If you are auditioning for a solo or speaking part, you will need to pick up a practice packet for your lines to memorize before the auditions on Dec 4 and Dec 8 in the auditorium after school. This packet is full of information and schedules that you need to pick up and have your parents sign both permission slips- one to audition and one to be part of the musical.

Hi there Everyone!!!!
Once Upon A Mattress
Just to let you know that the SIGN UP sheet for the middle school musical is going to be posted this week. Look for this outside the office. If you want a speaking part, you must audition, but if you want a smaller group part, just sign up, no audition necessary.
Everyone will need a packet that is full of information and dates. These packets will be located in Mrs. Charle McAtee's Room A 200 on this Friday. SO come and get these asap.
The auditions are on Thursday, Dec 4 and Monday, Dec 8 after school. You can come to either one of these days. Choose one or two sets of lines from the packet you want to audition with, and a song of your choice.
